RezStyle with host Kimberlie Acosta talking with Nammys Living Legend, Tommy Allsup the day of the 11th Annual Nammys in Niagara Falls, New York. Tommy Allsup (Cherokee), the original guitarist for Buddy Hollys band was the one who flipped a coin with Ritchie Valens for the last seat in their ill-fated plane. Tommy brought the audience to tears as he became emotional while he shared this story of his tour mate Richie Valens and his tragic end. In a music career spanning more than 60 years Tommy Allsup has played on over 100 country chart toppers and worked with artists as diverse as Bob Wills & his Texas Playboys, Buddy Holly & the Crickets, Gene McDaniels, Walter Brennan, Roy Orbison, George Jones,Bob Luman, Tanya Tucker, Buddy Knox, Asleep At The Wheel, Ventures, Kenny Rogers, Jan & Dean, Paul McCartney, Mae West, Charlie Rich and Willie Nelson.
